DNS Heroes Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of DNS Heroes services, including domain registration, email hosting, websites, business listings, and related services. By ordering or using our services, you agree to these terms.

Services

DNS Heroes provides domain registration, professional email hosting, managed websites, business listings management, and related digital services. Specific services and features are described at the time of order or in your quote.

Billing and Payment

Services are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Prices are shown before checkout or provided in a written Quote from Customer Care. Annual plans receive a 20% discount on the first year only. Subsequent years renew at the full rate.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the then-current rate unless cancelled before the renewal date. Quotes, invoices, statements, and payment receipts are sent via email. Customer Care will resend any of these documents upon request.

Cancellation

You may cancel at any time by contacting Customer Care. Cancellation requests must be received before the next renewal date to avoid charges for the upcoming period.

Monthly subscriptions continue until the end of the current billing period. Annual subscriptions continue until the end of the prepaid term. No partial-term refunds are issued unless required by law.

Refunds

No refunds are provided for partial months or unused portions of annual plans, except where required by applicable law. Domain registrations and transfers are non-refundable once submitted to the registry. Setup or migration work that has already been performed is non-refundable.

Failed Payments

If a payment fails, you will be notified by email and given a 7-day grace period to update payment information or resolve the issue. Services may be suspended after the 7-day grace period if payment is not received. Accounts that remain unpaid may be terminated.

Domain Registration

Domains may be registered through OpenSRS or GoDaddy, depending on the domain and arrangement. You will be informed which registrar is used at the time of registration. All domain registrations are subject to the applicable registrar’s agreement, ICANN policies, and registry rules.

You are listed as the Registrant of the domain. DNS Heroes acts only as the reseller. Domains renew automatically unless auto-renewal is cancelled. You may transfer domains away subject to ICANN’s 60-day transfer lock and by obtaining the authorization code. Domain privacy is available for most TLDs as an optional add-on.

Backups and Data Retention

Website and email content is backed up regularly according to the terms of your plan. After cancellation, service data is typically retained for 30 days to allow recovery, then deleted unless longer retention is required by law. You are responsible for maintaining your own copies of critical content.

Acceptable Use

Your use of the services is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate services that violate the Acceptable Use Policy or these Terms.

Limitation of Liability

DNS Heroes provides services on an “as is” basis. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the services, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
